Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HMI Architect to develop high-quality infotainment user interfaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, problem-solving, and design skills, with experience in Agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new technology roadmap for in-vehicle infotainment systems.
  • Create technical designs for infotainment applications and features.
  • Advise developers on implementation of designs.
  • Analyze requirements to drive cohesive software design.
  • Provide high-level estimates and task breakdowns.
  • Lead feasibility studies for new technologies.
  • Perform design, design review, coding, and code review as needed.
  • Work on multiple products for a fast-changing market.
  • Analyze system performance for bottlenecks.
  • Help build and maintain high team morale.
Requirements:
  • BE in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or ME in a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of software development experience for Linux and QT-based systems.
  • Strong C++, Qt, and QML programming skills.
  • Strong OOAD skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture design patterns and technologies.
  • Experience implementing Linux applications and daemons.
  • Comfort using desktop Linux and open-source tools for day-to-day development.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodology in the automotive industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Software architect experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience with Bluetooth, Audio, Media, and CarPlay applications on in-vehicle infotainment systems.
  • Tier-1 or Tier-2 working experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Qt-based projects: Application Manager, Wayland.
  • Experience with unit testing and test automation.
