We are seeking a highly experienced engineer with in-depth knowledge of OS administration, Redhat Satellite, Capsule, and Template Management. Proficiency in Shell, Perl, Python scripting languages is essential.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in Unix Servers operating system Administration, deploying, managing large-scale Unix server infrastructure. They should also be familiar with clustering, virtualized environments, and possess hands-on experience in managing network requirements for Unix Server Infrastructure.
A strong understanding of ITIL framework, incident management, change management, and result-oriented performance is required. Experience in Linux Administration, VMware platform, scripting, and storage and network management is a plus.
As a system engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, migrating, performance tuning, troubleshooting, security, failover, and load management of business application servers. You will also perform Unix update management tasks and troubleshoot/resolve issues.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent debugging and problem analysis skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required, and a Master's degree is preferred.
