Embedded Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Developer to join our organization. This role is focused on designing, developing and enhancing Linux-based systems for non-automotive applications. The successful candidate will have strong proficiency in C programming and an in-depth understanding of Linux kernel internals.

About the Role

  • Design and develop Linux device drivers for various interfaces such as USB, SPI, I2C, UART and Ethernet.
  • Perform board bring-up, hardware validation and low-level debugging using JTAG/GDB.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and system-level testing.
  • Optimize system performance, reliability and efficiency.
  • Develop and customize embedded Linux distributions using Yocto, Buildroot and U-Boot.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Linux BSP and driver development.
  • Strong proficiency in C programming with an in-depth understanding of Linux kernel internals.
  • Experience with ARM/RISC-V architectures.
  • Expertise in Yocto, Buildroot and Git-based workflows.
  • Proficiency with debugging tools: JTAG, oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement device drivers for various peripherals.
  • Develop and maintain firmware images for embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers for hardware bring-up and validation.
