Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, Python programming, and data visualization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient data pipelines, performing data cleaning and preprocessing, and generating actionable insights through dashboards and reports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing web scraping solutions to extract structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
  • Developing and testing Python scripts for data collection and transformation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and key data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Hands-on experience with web scraping tools and libraries (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium).
  • Solid understanding of databases with strong SQL skills; exposure to databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) and/or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Strong problem-solving ability, analytical mindset, and keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs for data collection and integration.
