Network Architect Position

We are seeking a skilled Network Architect to join our team. As a Network Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. This includes ensuring high availability, security, and performance of systems to support business operations.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals with a passion for building and managing complex networks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals and be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN, VAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks
  • Configuring management devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
  • Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Ensuring network security by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols
  • Collaborating with ISPs and vendors to ensure reliable Internet connectivity

In addition to technical expertise, this role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network architecture
  • Maintain and optimize network infrastructure
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance
  • Ensure network security and compliance

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows and Linux)
  • Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare and Hyper-V)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Key Skills:

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues, analytical mindset with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications:

  • Cisco CCNP/CCNA
  • CompTIA Network+/Server+

Project Management:

  • Plan and execute server and network infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements and deliver solutions, manage budget and timelines for infrastructure projects

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of experience in network administration
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade infrastructure

Work Environment:

  • On-site work model depending on organizational requirements
  • May require after-hours support during emergencies or scheduled maintenance
  • Collaboration with IT teams, vendors, and external service providers
