Job Title: Fluid Dynamics Modeling

We are seeking a skilled Fluid Dynamics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing simulation models of powertrain systems.

  • Develop detailed fluid dynamics models of powertrain systems, including component and system modeling/optimization.
  • Program advanced simulation tools to analyze and optimize engine and aftertreatment systems.
  • Create and develop functions for engine and aftertreatment systems, ensuring efficient performance and emissions reduction.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of requirements and goals, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Combine modules into larger systems/functions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Build complex models, including subsystems, defining boundary conditions and parameters.
  • Develop software function units, integrating them with existing systems and testing their functionality.
  • Calibrate, test, and evaluate parameters, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.

Technical knowledge:

  • Classical mechanics.
  • Fluid dynamics.
  • Thermodynamics.
  • Materials science.

Tools and Software:

  • ANSYS Fluent.
  • COMSOL Multiphysics.
