Job Summary

This role involves the management and administration of Dynatrace in various environments, including production, development, and staging. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with implementing and managing Dynatrace solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage services support and administration of Dynatrace platform across multiple environments.
  • Perform daily business-as-usual tasks to maintain Dynatrace environment.
  • Data onboarding and instrumentation of IT and business applications for infrastructure monitoring.
  • Installation and configuration of APM tools, including agent deployment, instrumentation, and integration with application stacks.
  • Conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Develop custom dashboards, reports, and alerts to monitor key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive APM best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in APM tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Document standard operating procedures for deployment, development, and BAU tasks.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Dynatrace implementation and management.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Dynatrace for monitoring various application stacks.
  • Solid understanding of application performance metrics, tracing, and profiling techniques.
  • Experience with end-user monitoring, synthetic/real user monitoring.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting performance issues, root cause analysis, and performance optimization strategies.
  • Proficient in working with Dynatrace monitoring agents, setting up instrumentation, and integrating APM tools with application frameworks and platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose complex performance issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage client relationships effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Dynatrace Professional or Black Belt certification.
  • Understanding of cloud-native architectures and ability to monitor applications in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with other APM tools (AppD/New Relic, HP Stack).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python/Powershell for automation and extending APM tool functionality.
