Chief Technology Officer Job Description

We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation in the development of advanced automotive lighting and signaling systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing a technology roadmap aligned with business goals, anticipating industry trends, and developing long-term strategies for interior and exterior lighting and signaling technologies.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement technology roadmaps for lighting and signaling systems
  • Anticipate and analyze industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
  • Drive innovation and R&D initiatives to stay ahead of the competition
  • Oversee product development, validation, and industrialization processes
  • Ensure compliance with global standards and regulations
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across R&D teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Optoelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree/Ph.D. in Automotive Engineering, Optics, or Applied Physics preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in leadership roles, with a proven track record in automotive product development
  • Strong technical expertise in lighting technologies, optics, photometry, electronics, and software-defined lighting systems
  • Familiarity with semiconductors, sensors, driver ICs, thermal management, and material science
  • Knowledge of ADAS integration, EV/Autonomous platform requirements, V2X signaling, and global automotive homologation standards
