Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Executive to lead our Quality Assurance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Test incoming materials, including raw materials, packing materials, water analysis, and glass analysis.
  • Perform chemical testing during external inspections and prepare reports for incoming raw materials.
  • Provide failure reports to the Head of Department in case of non-acceptance.
  • Maintain stock of reagents used in testing with proper identification.
  • Maintain records of received test reports from suppliers.
  • Report instrument failures and perform preventive maintenance with the Instrument department.
  • Maintain instruments' identification, calibration status, product displays, and product catalogues.
  • Retail samples of failed materials until a final decision is made by the HOD and identify consignments marked 'Rejected'.
  • Carry out goods inspections as per quality procedures or inspection plans for Glass wool, Flexi duct, and Pipe section.
  • Prepare daily Management Information System (MIS) reports and maintain documents according to implemented quality systems.
  • Provide verbal feedback on materials under production not meeting requirements or specifications for immediate corrective action from production.
  • Ensure proper packing of finished goods through visual inspections, including identification of goods, cartons, and polythene bags. Inform shift in-charges in case of non-conformities for corrective measures.
  • Perform additional random checks of glass wool on retained samples in QC for LOI and moisture content.
  • Conduct long-duration tests for glass wool products, pipe section products, and Flexi duct products.

Educational Qualifications: MSc in Chemistry, BSc in PCM, or BE in Chemical Engineering.

Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience.

Preferred Industry: Experience in Glass Industry (preferably Insulation), Chemicals, or Building Materials.
