Data Validation Expert

A senior data testing professional is needed to lead our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Pandas, REST API and testing with a solid understanding of data validation, data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and execute automated and manual test cases for data validation and transformation processes.
  • Validate data integrity across various sources including APIs, databases.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand data flows and ensure quality across the pipeline.
  • Develop Python scripts using Pandas for data comparison, profiling and anomaly detection.
  • Test data against RESTful APIs for correctness, performance and reliability.
  • Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases and test reports.
  • Work with MongoDB for data storage, retrieval and intermediate queries.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and testing.
  • Hands-on experience using tools like Postman, Pytest or similar.
  • Experience with data validation, data profiling and data quality frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL data models is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems e.g. Git.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
