Cybersecurity Solutions Architects play a critical role in protecting applications, software, and code that support the development and delivery of life-changing therapies. At our organization, we accelerate patient therapies to market by harnessing innovative technologies and solutions.

This position will be a key member of the Office of the CISO and Enterprise Security Architects, leveraging expertise to drive enterprise initiatives, formulate requirements, patterns, and solutions for risk mitigation. As a technical influencer, you will build cross-functional partnerships to deliver modern security engineering and operational solutions.

As an architect, you will partner with software engineering teams to design secure software solutions, participate in proof-of-concept exercises, and enable the delivery of secure operational solutions. You will own the software security program and initiatives, reporting progress to leadership and stakeholders.

The scope of responsibility includes but is not limited to supporting the transformation of security engineering into early phases of enterprise delivery through defined Secure SDLC, source code management, application security, and DevSecOps across the enterprise.

You will bring an 'everything-as-code' security mindset to apply across applications, APIs, and platform engineering, defining and identifying technical and business risks along with enterprise requirements consumable by a shared-responsibility model for engineering and operational controls.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as effective organizational abilities, are essential due to the detailed and time-bound nature of the work and extensive collaboration with others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mature and modernize the enterprise software security program and initiatives to manage risks and enable technology solutions.">
• Publish metrics and KPIs.">
• Set enterprise requirements for secure software development based on common cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CSF, SafeCode, OWASP, etc.">
• Contribute to enterprise security policies and standards.">
• Evolving Secure SDLC standards and processes.">
• Define, own, and drive the company's software security strategy and roadmap, acting as the key security voice for software security.">

Requirements:

We seek a seasoned professional with 5-7 years of experience in software security or related roles, having a proven track record of building and transforming secure software and platform engineering practices.

Experience partnering with engineering teams to achieve security goals, strong familiarity with source code management, software exploitation techniques, and the Mitre Attack framework are also required.

Additional standout skills include hands-on experience with modern engineering technologies such as Kubernetes and Containers, experience securing Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms, and delivered secure coding practices to large engineering teams.

Education:

Security Architecture TOGAF/SABSA, Cloud security certifications for OCI, AWS, or Azure (Azure preferred).
