Associate Director of Valuation

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our valuation team as an Associate Director. This role will focus on complex financial instruments and derivatives, providing valuable insights to clients across various industries.

The successful candidate will possess expertise in option pricing models, Monte Carlo simulations, and lattice models. They will also have experience with programming languages such as MatLab, R, and Bloomberg.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and maintain an effective sales process for the valuation practice area, including establishing referral networks and networking with peers.
  • Client Management: Primary advisor to clients, managing complex financial instrument engagements and overseeing CFI valuation professionals.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor, coach, and train staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in complex financial instruments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Field (Math, Financial Mathematics, or related area of study) preferred; MBA or other Master's a plus.
  • Professional Certifications: ABV/CPA, ASA, or CFA.
  • Experience valuing complex financial instruments, including convertible notes, embedded derivatives, earn-outs, and interest rate derivatives.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in option pricing models, Monte Carlo simulations, and lattice models.
