Food Industry Utility Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Utility Engineer to join our team in the food industry. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our utility systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize utility equipment, including boilers, air compressors, and refrigeration systems, to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement a robust preventive maintenance program to prevent mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly, minimizing disruption to production and services.
  • Monitor and control utility consumption to reduce costs and improve resource allocation.
  • Ensure all utility systems comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and facility expansion.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience as a Utility Engineer in the food industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
  • Proven experience with boilers, air compressors, and utility billing is essential.
  • Prior experience working on food industry projects is highly advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and a commitment to safety and quality.
