Therapy Position Overview

The primary function of this role is to provide speech therapy services to clients. This involves conducting new case assessments and developing personalized therapy plans tailored to each individual's needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' communication skills and develop targeted treatment plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, educators, and other specialists, to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and share relevant information with team members as necessary.
  • Develop and implement protocols for assessment, treatment, and management, ensuring consistency and best practices across all cases.
  • Create and update educational resources, manuals, and guides to support client learning and staff training.
  • Participate in workshops, seminars, and other professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: A Bachelor of Science in Language and Linguistics (BASLP) or equivalent degree.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience in speech therapy or a related field.
