About the Position

We seek an experienced Senior Software Architect to spearhead the development of our AI vision platform. This professional will design and build a scalable, production-ready platform for processing satellite imagery and delivering actionable intelligence.

This is a high-velocity role where you will leverage cutting-edge AI tools to build at unprecedented speed while maintaining enterprise-grade quality and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Design and Development: Create automated systems for satellite image ingestion, preprocessing, and patch generation
  • AI Model Integration: Seamlessly integrate object detection and classification models
  • Quality Control Systems: Develop automated validation and human-in-the-loop review workflows
  • Data Management Platform: Implement robust database systems for storing, indexing, and retrieving intelligence data
  • User Interface Development: Design intuitive platforms for intelligence dissemination and visualization
  • Scalable Infrastructure: Establish cloud-native architecture handling large-scale data processing

Requirements and Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering with 3+ years in AI/ML system integration
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams (2-10 developers)
  • Experience shipping production ML/AI systems at scale

AI-Native Development Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in leveraging AI coding tools
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI assistants for rapid prototyping, code generation, and debugging
  • Experience with AI-powered testing, documentation, and deployment tools
  • Track record of delivering projects 2-3x faster than traditional development approaches

Core Technical Skills

  • Backend Development: Python, Node.js, or Go for high-performance systems
  • Computer Vision Integration: Experience with OpenCV, PIL, and ML model deployment
  • Database Systems: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar for geospatial and metadata storage
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure with container orchestration
  • API Development: RESTful and GraphQL APIs for system integration
  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring systems
