The Role

The person in this position will be responsible for doing automation testing for next-generation telematics platforms, developing and maintaining test scripts, and driving automation test strategy for the platform.

  • Automation framework concept development for telematics Domain
  • Automation strategy development for API validation, Overall System validation, and Software level Validation for telematics domain.
  • Provide architectural and technical support on developing Automotive Framework.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts in python.
  • Development and maintenance of tools for Test Automation to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Test software designs and code to ensure automated tests meet program requirements.
  • Should have Experienced in testing automotive Sub-Domains: CAN, Diagnostics, Cyber Security, ECU flashing, Infotainment, Telematics.
  • Should have Experienced in application and system level testing.
  • Should have good experience in Verification & Validation Techniques.
  • Responsible for creating and executing test plans for design verification, software qualification testing.
  • Work with both a local lead and remote teams on debugging issues
  • Provide real-time status for the current tasks and report weekly activity.

Responsibilities also include working with design engineers to analyze and troubleshoot problems, interpreting different specifications and product requirements, organizing test results, compiling, and presenting test reports, and logging defects into the defect tracking system.
