Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist Role

The ideal candidate will be involved in the planned turnaround of an offshore project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical tasks as identified in the authorized scope of work, including design, verification, layout definition, preparation of installation drawings, and specification of materials
  • Evaluate and ensure validation, testing, and engineering of process measurement instruments, control actuators, installation components, and safety systems are performed in line with Company standards and requirements
  • Collaborate and coordinate with technicians on electrical and instrumentation matters
  • Cordinate E&I technical activities executed internally or outsourced to subcontractors, ensuring adherence to turnaround specifications and timelines
  • Support the coordinator and manager to define man hours and cost estimates
  • Prepare technical documentation for E&I elements material and services requisitions
  • Conduct technical bid evaluations in accordance with internal procedures, providing clear and justified recommendations
  • Assign work tasks to subcontractors to execute maintenance activities
  • Ensure subcontractors have proper personal protective equipment according to site conditions
  • Report near-miss events and incidents to relevant personnel
  • Issue permits to work and ensure they are understood and used
  • Prepare risk assessments in collaboration with the HSE specialist and team
  • Provide technical support to the team
  • Prepare electrical and instrumentation material requests

Additional Requirements:

  • Work remotely for a period before moving to Abidjan (Ivory Coast)
  • Maintain a flexible schedule depending on project needs
