Storycrafting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled storyteller with a passion for crafting engaging narratives and dialogue to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing branching narrative flows, character arcs, and dialogue that respond to player choices while aligning with gameplay and tone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write compelling dialogue, character interactions, and narrative events that drive the story forward.
  • Design and implement branching story flows using dialogue graph tools to create immersive and dynamic experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and programmers to integrate story with gameplay and visuals.
  • Create rich and detailed character backstories, lore, and world-building elements that transport players to new worlds.
  • Ensure consistency of tone, pacing, and player agency across the narrative, maintaining a cohesive and engaging experience.
Requirements:
  • Strong writing skills, particularly in dialogue-driven storytelling, with the ability to craft engaging characters and situations.
  • Experience working on interactive or branching narratives, such as games, visual novels, or similar projects.
  • Understanding of mystery, detective, or choice-driven genres, with a passion for creating complex and intriguing stories.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, and programmers, to achieve shared goals.

Familiarity with narrative design tools, such as Ink, Yarn Spinner, Fungus, or custom Unity graph systems, is a plus.
