Hydraulic Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to work on the installation and design of hydraulic systems for large mining products, such as Trucks, Loaders, Scrapers, and Underground equipment.

This role involves developing concepts, designing components and systems, collaborating with suppliers, and supporting builds and testing at site.

  • Create 3D models of hose/tube & mounting bracket designs using Creo.
  • Plan hydraulic component placement, routing, and system integration.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot hydraulic schematics.
  • Support prototype/pilot builds and on-machine tests.
  • Validate hydraulic components and perform design calculations.
  • Analyze bolted joints and apply FEA using Creo Simulate or equivalent software.
  • Apply APQP, GD&T, and BOM management principles.
  • Collaborate with global teams and suppliers, support NPI, and aftermarket activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience in hydraulics systems/components.
  • Proficiency in Creo and understanding of hydraulic schematics.
  • Knowledge of material properties, hose fittings, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
