Job Title: Hydraulic System Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled expert to design and analyze hydraulic systems for irrigation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing dams, barrages, canals, micro-irrigation systems, and related structures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze hydraulic structures such as dams, barrages, weirs, spillways, and intake systems using standard engineering codes and software.
  • Develop micro-irrigation system layouts, pipe network designs, and hydraulic profiles for efficient water distribution.
  • Prepare hydraulic modeling, flow calculations, and hydraulic grade line diagrams for irrigation and water management projects.
  • Develop detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design tools.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including survey, GIS, and geotechnical teams for integrated designs.
  • Support the preparation of DPRs (Detailed Project Reports).
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and review discussions with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the design and drawing of dams, barrages, canals, micro-irrigation systems, and related structures.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis, and pipe hydraulics.
  • Familiarity with WRD, CWC, Govt Guidelines, and state irrigation department practices.
  • Excellent technical documentation, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Education:

Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering.
