**SQL Database Administrator Job Summary**

  • Monitor database log replication, generated log and event files indicating errors that will result in an incident.

As a seasoned SQL Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and supporting MS SQL Database including Failover Cluster, Always ON Setup and new server provisioning. You will oversee transaction replication, link servers, hardening, patching in day-to-day operations, and ensure team management best practices are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor database log replication, generated log and event files indicating errors that will result in an incident.
  • DR Database availability monitoring.
  • Session/Query/Log/Latch monitoring.
  • Database performance issue troubleshooting.
  • Periodic config review to maintain consistent configurations.
  • Review and recommendation to maintain availability.
  • Monthly report on database availability.
  • Link Servers configuration.
  • Failover clustering.
  • Always ON setup and management.
  • Database patching and hardening compliance.
  • Job Scheduling and Maintenance plan creation.
  • Prepared POA and rollback plan on Database Migration.
Requirements
