We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as a Manager, Research Services Procurement. This role requires a unique blend of strategic planning, procurement expertise, and innovation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that drive business growth, enhance research outcomes, and improve patient care. This includes leading sourcing events, creating supplier relationship management programs, and sharing best practices with global colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain a 3-5 year strategic plan across all categories, ensuring maximum value delivery from projects supporting the strategic plan.
  • Sourcing Events: Lead sourcing events across all categories to select preferred suppliers, ensuring adherence to buying SOPs.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Create robust SRM programs via category and supplier segmentation, metrics/KPI development, contract management, etc.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share best practices with global colleagues and continuously improve site strategy through feedback and discussion on best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Business Acumen: 5-7 years of business experience, multi-disciplined procurement experience, and/or research (sourcing or otherwise).
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in leading large change management projects.
  • R&D Expertise: Prior R&D experience in biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical device industry required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge and proficiency with Ariba system and Icertis is preferred.

  • Field-Based/Rmote-by-Design: Roles requiring physical travel to visit customers, patients, or business partners and attend meetings on behalf of the company.
