We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our litigation team.

The role involves working closely with senior lawyers and clients on diverse litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective representation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting: Draft pleadings, petitions, written statements, and other legal documents, utilizing strong drafting and research skills.
  • Research: Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare case notes, opinions, and briefs, demonstrating knowledge of civil and commercial litigation procedures.
  • Court Appearances: Appear before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities, effectively communicating with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategy Formulation: Assist in strategy formulation and case preparation, working collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, keeping them updated on case progress and providing exceptional client-handling skills.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines, maintaining attention to detail and sound problem-solving ability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong Drafting: Strong drafting and research skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Law: Knowledge of civil and commercial litigation procedures, with prior exposure to litigation preferred.
  • Effective Communication: Effective communication and client-handling skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
