About this Opportunity:

As a seasoned associate, you will be part of a top-tier law firm's reputable Employment Law practice in India. Your role will involve making a meaningful impact on high-value mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on employment contracts, HR policies, compensation structures, termination matters, industrial disputes, disciplinary proceedings, employee misconduct, POSH compliance, internal investigations, labour law audits, due diligence for M&A transactions, workforce structuring, transfers, and retrenchment strategy.
  • Represent clients before labour authorities, tribunals, and other forums as necessary, draft and negotiate employment-related documentation and settlement agreements, stay abreast of developments in Indian employment law, and contribute to knowledge management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including litigation, corporate, and compliance teams, supervise and mentor junior associates in the practice.

Candidate Profile:

  • LL.B. from a reputed Indian law school
  • 7–12 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a top-tier law firm or leading in-house legal department
  • Strong command of Indian labour laws, industrial regulations, and case law developments
  • Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills
  • Experience in handling sensitive investigations and employment litigation preferred
  • Business-oriented mindset with excellent client-handling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments independently and under deadlines
  • Team player with a collaborative working style
