About the Role:

Thryve Digital Health LLP is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Manager to lead our vibrant data team in Chennai & Hyderabad. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the work end-to-end, interacting with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring seamless integration across upstream and downstream applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire data engineering lifecycle, including proof of concepts, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of data pipelines and solutions.
  • Establish and implement standardized guidelines for ETL and data architecture, guaranteeing consistency and efficiency.
  • Guide the team to create frameworks that ensure data quality, handle errors effectively, provide audit controls, and offer reusable transformation structures.
  • Lead the team in applying a comprehensive, enterprise-wide approach to building data models and data management strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with business users, US teams, architects, data analysts, and other teams to ensure data solutions meet their needs and align with overall objectives.
  • Mentor and manage multiple data engineering teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
  • Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and adhere to process, scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Participate in reviewing requirements, architecture, and design.
  • Highlight risks and concerns, work with US managers to establish alignment, contingency, and mitigation plans as needed.
  • Actively resolve impediments and escalate when necessary.
  • Track delivery statuses, project progress, and take ownership of critical incidents until completion.
  • Take ownership and accountability of critical projects.
  • Publish regular status reports to leadership highlighting risks and issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Around 12-15 years of overall experience.
  • Experience managing complex data projects and programs involving data engineering, ingestion, transformation, aggregation, modeling, and storage.
  • Experience designing ETL solutions using Informatica, Python/Pyspark, Databricks, etc.
  • Experience building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams spread across multiple geographical locations.
  • Strong customer focus, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, confidence, and attitude.
  • Understanding or experience in big data technologies (HDFS, Spark, Pyspark, Databricks, etc).
  • Basic working knowledge in any cloud.
  • Experience leading a team and delivering complex projects involving creation and maintenance of data pipelines.

Estimated Salary Range: ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,250,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and career growth opportunities.
