**Physical Design Lead Role**

  • This position will be responsible for the leadership of our physical systems design team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement low power designs, utilizing techniques such as voltage islands, power gating, and substrate-bias to minimize energy consumption.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end ASIC teams to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the design process.
  • Ensure closure of static integrity and timing on DDR2/DDR3/PCIE interfaces, guaranteeing the reliability and stability of our products.
  • Maintain excellent communication and written documentation skills, enabling seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Posess a strong background in ASIC Physical Design, including floor planning, P&R, extraction, IR Drop Analysis, and Signal Integrity closure.
  • Expertise in Cadence or Synopsys or Magma physical design tools and scripting languages like PERL and TCL is essential.
  • Strong physical verification skill set and Static Timing Analysis in Primetime or Primetime-SI is required.
  • The ability to prioritize work based on project needs and interface effectively with different teams is crucial.
