Job Overview

The Capture Manager role is a key position within an organization, responsible for driving growth by qualifying and capturing new business opportunities in both the public and private sectors.

This individual will be instrumental in developing teaming, pricing, and proposal strategies to secure new contracts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of winning proposals in the public sector and possess excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear, logical, and persuasive documents.

A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement capture strategies to identify new business opportunities
  • Evaluate markets and assess potential risks and rewards
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements
  • Review and qualify RFIs and RFPs, driving the proposal process forward
  • Prepare written proposals, working collaboratively to develop concepts and gather information
  • Maintain reference databases for technical, management, and past performance
  • Conduct after-action reviews to document lessons learned and improve future capture techniques
Requirements
  • Capture-related experience in Federal or State procurements
  • Solid track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of cost and financials
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. English, Journalism, Communications)
