Job Description

The Research Development Specialist will be responsible for conducting primary and secondary research, gathering data from various sources, and analyzing it to identify trends and patterns. The ideal candidate should have excellent research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as required by clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the individual will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, material science, or business administration;
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in customer research or consulting engagements;
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex data;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Familiarity with paid and public databases, including Factiva, Bloomberg, Questel Orbit, Web of Science, Crunch Base, import-export databases, government statistical sources/portals, MarkLines, LexisNexis, and SurveyMonkey;
