Financial Expertise Specialist

Job Overview:

This role requires an experienced professional to provide advanced financial expertise in support of ERP Fusion Finance applications. The successful candidate will identify innovative solutions to resolve product implementation and integration obstacles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for ERP Fusion Finance applications, including AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, IC, Tax, Expense modules.
  • Identify and apply creative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration challenges.
  • Manage functional requests from end-users and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Develop and coordinate the implementation of functional specifications with technical teams.
  • Review Oracle Fusion quarterly updates, understand their implications, and map them to business needs.
  • Design and develop OTBI reports, FRC reports, and write basic data extraction queries using SQL.
  • Support and manage all finance and third-party integrations, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Establish or redefine reconciliation processes and reports, supporting users during month-end and year-end reconciliation.
  • Design custom fusion roles and provide data access as required.
  • Collaborate with Oracle support teams to resolve application bugs and enhancements.
  • Encourage business users to leverage Oracle standard functionalities and reports.
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle Applications functional specifications.
  • Develop unit test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing of system enhancements or custom solutions.
  • Work with Oracle to resolve service requests and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
  • Lead system life cycle phases, handle period closing, and reconcile sub-ledger and third-party systems.
  • Build and customize reports based on user requirements and train end-users on systems where applicable.
  • Participate in audits, detect issues, implement action plans, and coordinate actions.
  • Adhere to existing ITIL service management processes and support service level agreements.
  • Regularly communicate with users regarding support or enhancement request status.
  • Collaborate with ERP support teams across domains to ensure timely incident resolution.
  • Work with project teams and end-users to develop, test, and implement Oracle Cloud solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Oracle Fusion Finance modules.
  • 7+ years' experience in Oracle Financial modules.
  • 5+ years implementing Oracle Financial modules.
  • 2+ years supporting end-users of Oracle Financial modules.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining coordination with multiple parties.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Expense Management, Intercompany, Oracle FRS, OTBI, and FBDI.
  • Experience with business requirements, technical analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of customizations within software environments.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
