As a seasoned accounting professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of client accounts and back-office functions.

Accounting
  • Maintain accurate client ledgers by tracking deposits, withdrawals, and trading margins.
  • Reconcile daily balances to guarantee precision in client accounts.
  • Verify executed trades with exchange and back-office systems for accuracy.
  • Calculate and record brokerage, statutory fees (GST, STT, SEBI charges, stamp duty), and other trade-related charges.
  • Generate detailed profit-and-loss reports for clients and provide comprehensive charge breakdowns.
  • Ensure accurate tax reporting by deducting and recording applicable taxes.
  • Assist clients with capital gains accounting and generate relevant tax reports.
  • Verify trading balances with bank accounts and back-office records to prevent discrepancies.
  • Guarantee compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax-related obligations.
Back Office Operations
  • Manage the entire client onboarding process, including KYC verification and account setup.
  • Process and record client pay-ins and pay-outs for trades.
  • Ensure timely completion of settlement obligations within prescribed timelines.
  • Reconcile daily trades with stock exchanges to guarantee accuracy in trade settlements.
  • Generate and distribute contract notes, trade confirmations, and margin reports to clients.
  • Process payouts and pay-ins of funds and securities within prescribed timelines.
  • Handle client queries related to trade execution, account balances, and discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client transactions, corporate actions, and account activities.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field, along with 2+ years of experience in accounting or back-office operations. Proficiency in accounting software and stock trading platforms is required, as well as a strong understanding of stock market operations, settlement cycles, and regulatory requirements. Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential.
