Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Implement monitoring tools and dashboards for system health, performance, and capacity planning.
  • Develop automation for repetitive tasks to reduce manual intervention.
  • Respond to incidents, lead post-incident analysis, and drive efforts to prevent recurrences through detailed root cause analysis.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in infrastructure, databases, applications, and networking.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design systems that are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and optimized for performance and cost.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and improve delivery cycles.
  • Develop disaster recovery plans ensuring systems are resilient and capable of fast recovery.
  • Monitor and forecast resource utilization and implement cost-effective scaling strategies.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or Infrastructure professional.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to closely work with the Software Engineering team and provide solutions.
  • Familiarity with tools such as New relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, or equivalent.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Code Pipeline, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent.
  • Version control expertise with Git and version control best practices.
  • Containerization and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • A strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • The ability to analyze complex systems diagnose issues and drive improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
