Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead and manage our enterprise-level data governance initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in data management, including configuration, integration, workflow development, and stakeholder engagement.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and enabling data stewardship across the organization. We require a strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and administration of a data intelligence platform.
  • Design and configure data operating models, including domains, assets, workflows, and roles.
  • Develop and maintain custom workflows using BPMN and a workflow designer.
  • Integrate the platform with enterprise systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and business users to define and enforce data governance policies.
  • Implement and monitor data quality rules, lineage, and metadata management.
  • Provide training and support to business and technical users on platform usage and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external data governance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with the data intelligence platform, including configuration, workflow development, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with data cataloging, lineage, and business glossary.
  • Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data governance certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in enterprise-level deployments of the platform.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance.
  • Background in data architecture or data engineering is a plus.
