Signal Processing Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced DSP Systems Engineer with a strong background in advanced algorithm development, utilizing techniques from Detection and Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining performance requirements, designing, testing, verification, and validation of signal processing algorithms and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.

  • Design, verify, and test signal processing algorithms utilizing techniques in Detection and Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory
  • Design and simulation of end-to-end systems from the ground up to meet required performance specifications
  • Analysis and verification of algorithms against real-world data
  • MATLAB simulations and fixed-point implementations

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a focus on Digital Signal Processing or digital communications theory
  • 3-10 years of experience in implementing DSP algorithms, preferably with expertise in Radar or LiDAR Signal Processing
  • Solid fundamentals in mathematics, digital signal processing, and communication systems
  • Experience in designing, choosing, and optimizing DSP algorithms for RADAR or other relevant sensors
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and C/C++, with experience in other languages (e.g., Python)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Background with Radar or LiDAR Signal Processing (FMCW)
  • Expertise in Radar link budgets, analysis of Minimum Detectable Signal, Signal-to-Noise, and Signal-to-Clutter
  • Experience developing DSP algorithms on FPGAs
