Talent500 is looking for a highly experienced Principal Engineer to lead the design, configuration and delivery of enterprise planning solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to operate across multiple domains, define reusable patterns, influence solution architecture and mentor peers.

We are searching for a senior-most builder with exceptional leadership skills to ensure accuracy, scalability and innovation in enterprise planning and forecasting processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality results in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 12-15 years of Oracle EPM/Hyperion experience with at least 7+ years in EPBCS/Planning Cloud.
  • Proven expertise in Capex, Opex, Workforce/Headcount Planning and Long-Range Strategic Planning.
  • Deep knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, allocations and driver-based planning.
  • Strong experience in designing calculation rules, data forms, business rules and Smart View templates.

This role requires outstanding leadership, problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multi-phase planning implementations with SDLC methodology and collaborating with enterprise architects and transformation leaders to shape the long-term planning roadmap.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong customer focus and ability to translate complex planning requirements into scalable solutions. You will also need to possess excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and mentor global teams.

The job responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the design and delivery of EPBCS applications for Capex, Opex, Workforce, Headcount and Long-Range Planning.
  2. Defining and implementing driver-based models, calculation rules and planning templates for forecasting and budgeting cycles.
  3. Partnering with Finance leadership to align planning solutions with strategic initiatives, corporate reporting and scenario modeling.
  4. Providing architectural oversight for EPBCS data flows, integrations and hierarchies using Data Management and EDMCS.
