Job Title: IT Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. As an IT Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating the approval of all IT procurement projects and ensuring that activities are adhered to Group Procurement Policies associated processes.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the facilitation of IT procurement projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to Group Procurement Policies and associated processes.
  • Work with IT vendors and internal clients to ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes through defined SLA based operations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across various locations and geographies globally for IT procurement operations.
  • Provide procurement services to Functional/Business stakeholders within the company.
  • Support IT RFx sourcing projects and vendor comparison analyses.
  • Support vendor onboarding assessments and ongoing reassessments.
  • Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, handle payment queries, and rectify discrepancies.
  • Maintain repository of vendor contracts, procurement, and invoices documentation.
  • Prepare and publish periodic management reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, procurement, or similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as procurement or invoice analyst or similar position within the procure-to-pay function, preferably in IT procurement space.
  • Sound knowledge of IT industry procurements (e.g., hardware, software, services & telecom).
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Working experience in vendor management.
  • Know-how of basic accounting practices and procurement/payment-related tools and processes.
  • Excellent attention to details and analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ability to process large volumes of requests and ready to perform routine tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English.
