Telecommunications Engineer - Innovative Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and installation of Structured Cabling Systems (SCS) and Communications Rooms.
  • Development and publishing of Telecommunications Designs for Outside Plant Infrastructure (OSP) and Active ICT Networks.
  • Wireless LAN and Wi-Fi modeling, RF Systems, and Technology platforms and systems integration.
  • Preparing reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings for tendering of works.
  • Liaising with engineers, vendors, and contractors throughout project duration.
  • Mentoring junior and graduate engineers within a multi-discipline design team.

Requirements:

  • Master of Engineering in electronic, computer systems, or telecommunications course of study.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Past experience in mentoring preferred.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) in relevant engineering discipline (MIET, etc.).
  • Extensive experience in ICT and Telecommunications design, preferably in the Asia Pacific, USA, Middle East, or UK.
  • Underpinning knowledge of Network design principles and critical environments experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of system and subsystem design, including telecommunications network, structured cabling systems, active network design, server and SAN solutions, firewalls, radio systems, MPLS networks, IP-CCTV systems, and more.
