Job Description

As a Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the core components of our internal developer platform. This includes APIs, tools, and infrastructure.

You will be responsible for building self-service capabilities that enable developers to provision infrastructure, deploy applications, and manage their environments independently. You will also implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

Additionally, you will develop and maintain golden paths for common development tasks, ensuring consistency and best practices. You will contribute to the overall architecture and design of our cloud infrastructure and evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools into the platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
