Endpoint Infrastructure Specialist

The role of an Endpoint Infrastructure Specialist involves the implementation, management, and optimization of endpoint devices within a networked environment. This includes analyzing hardware and operating system standards to determine their suitability for business usage.

Key responsibilities include deploying software applications, packages, and patches on PC endpoints while ensuring a balance between security practices and usability. Additionally, managing configurations and compliance on endpoint devices is crucial to prevent potential data breaches or operational disruptions.

A successful candidate will have a working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant hardware, software, and other equipment used by end-users. Proficiency in troubleshooting skills and customer service practices are also essential. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem analysis and high-level problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Developing, documenting, and designing new production procedures and quality standards.
  • Assisting with mobile device and cell phone management.
  • Setting policies for managing endpoint devices based on business needs.
  • Taking initiative to research and develop alternative endpoint strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with virtualized environments, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft System Center Suite, Orchestrator, Configuration Manager, Service Manager, Flexera Suite, and packaging.
  • Intune or other mobile device management experience, as well as Microsoft 365 certification, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification, experience with metrics collection and analysis, process automation, basic knowledge of Software and OS Deployment, Powershell scripting, and PowerBI knowledge.
