About Us

We are a global finance company seeking a Senior Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A/investment banking, transaction advisory or consulting services.

Job Summary:

  • This position will involve executing sell-side and buy-side M&A projects, financing and fundraising activities.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for targeting and approaching new clients to identify potential business opportunities.
  • They will also contribute to the creation of pitch documents, pricing/valuation papers, marketing materials, management presentations and execution of supporting transaction structuring.
  • In addition, they will advise clients on commercial negotiation and assist the project lead in the daily execution of all aspects of M&A projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex financial transactions and provide strategic guidance to clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Analyze financial data and create models to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A/investment banking, transaction advisory or consulting services.
  • An MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) degree with a solid academic record.
  • A strong understanding of financial statements and their interlinkages.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent proficiency in written and verbal communication skills – English and German (mandatory).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint).
  • Command in using research databases such as S&P Capital IQ, MergerMarket, Pitchbook, Fame, Orbis, among others.
