Legal Expert

As a Legal Expert, you will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. This includes managing litigation, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and advising on policy development to protect the organization's interests.
Key Responsibilities:- Legal Compliance and Advice:
- Provide timely and accurate legal advice on various matters to senior management and ensure the organization adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Document Management:
- Draft, review, and vet legal documents, including contracts and agreements with external parties.
- Litigation Management:
- Coordinate with external legal advisors and attend court as necessary.
- Policy Development:
- Monitor and manage internal legal processes, update existing policies, and help formulate new ones.
- Dispute Resolution:
- Serve as a member secretary for committees and handle internal disputes from a legal perspective.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in law (LLB or LLM) from a recognized institution with registration is required.
- A minimum of six years of experience is required as an advocate or working in a legal department, demonstrating hands-on application of legal knowledge.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills are essential, along with excellent oral and written communication abilities. Knowledge of the local language is also required.
