Senior Data Engineer - Cloud Data Processing

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join our team, specializing in Cloud Data Processing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and data warehousing.

About the Role

This is a remote position, requiring 4+ years of experience. We are looking for an immediate joiner who can commit to a minimum of 4 months. The working hours are from 11 am to 8 pm IST.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL pipelines on GCP using Python or Java.
  • Scripting, best practices, and challenges related to ETL on GCP cloud.
  • Batch and streaming data ingestion, building end-to-end pipelines on GCP.
  • Knowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL, both on-premise and on-cloud.
  • Data warehouse concepts, including beginner to intermediate level understanding.

Requirements

  • Strong background in GCP, particularly GCS, PubSub, Dataflow, or DataProc, Bigquery, Airflow/Composer.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Java.
  • Experience with databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
