Job Description

The role of Design Manager for Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plants is a high-level position that involves overseeing the entire design process from conceptualization to execution.

This includes managing teams of engineers and designers, coordinating with project managers and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing design plans, specifications, and construction documents, as well as optimizing designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Oversight: Manage the design lifecycle from conceptualization to execution, ensuring technical specifications are met, and projects remain cost-effective and compliant with industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and designers in creating and implementing solar projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project requirements, present design solutions, and address concerns.
Technical Expertise:
  • Stay Updated: Remain current with the latest innovations and technology trends in solar PV design.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies and technical analysis to inform design decisions.

Quality Assurance:

  • Design Audits: Conduct design audits and reviews to ensure adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.
