Content Marketing Strategist

The company is seeking a skilled Content Marketing Strategist to develop and implement a data-driven content marketing strategy that supports the company's objectives for brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Content Strategy: Create and implement a content marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and improves brand visibility by leveraging industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities.
  • Content Production: Manage the content calendar and oversee the creation of diverse content types, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, videos, and webinars that cater to various audience segments and channels.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of content to optimize strategies and inform future content creation and marketing campaigns by utilizing metrics such as engagement rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams from performance marketing, sales, product, and design to ensure alignment between content and product launches, sales initiatives, and customer education.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of writers, editors, and content creators to ensure consistent high-quality content output and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Stay Industry-Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities to continuously improve content strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  • External Partnerships: Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and guest contributors to expand the scope and reach of content production and leverage their expertise and networks.
  • Content Distribution: Ensure effective distribution of content across multiple platforms, including the company blog, social media channels, email marketing, and third-party publications to maximize visibility and reach.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in content marketing with a proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes through content.
  • Content Strategy Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop and manage content strategies that align with business goals and improve brand visibility by leveraging industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities.
  • Writing & Editing Skills: Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that showcases expertise across various content formats.
  • Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring content teams, ensuring consistent and high-quality content production.
