**Technical Author Position**

Job Overview

As a key member of our documentation team, the Technical Author will be responsible for creating and revising technical documentation for electro-mechanical assemblies. This encompasses Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), Service Bulletins, and Temporary Revisions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to craft procedures and functional descriptions by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.

Ensuring all documentation meets industry standards (e.g., ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D), regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA), and internal quality guidelines is paramount.

A strong understanding of structured documentation formats such as XML or SGML is essential.

Proficiency in tools like Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw CAD Process, or CorelDRAW for technical illustrations is required.

Strong knowledge of ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and Simplified Technical English is necessary.

Understanding of S1000D data module structure and CGM/SVG integration for illustrations is also required.

Experience working with CAD tools like CATIA V5, UG (NX), and SolidWorks to generate accurate visuals is desirable.
