About the Role:

We seek an innovative and skilled Fashion Designer to develop creative western silhouettes, including dresses, coord sets, tops, and fusion wear.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Create seasonal collections aligned with brand aesthetics and fashion trends, using Adobe Photoshop & Corel Draw.
  • Sampling & Production: Translate design concepts into samples, ensure fittings, pattern corrections, and fabric usage align with quality and cost, and collaborate with merchandising and production teams.
  • Trend & Market Research: Stay updated on global and Indian trends in western & fusion fashion, analyze competitor collections, and contribute ideas for differentiation.
  • Brand Aesthetics: Maintain modern yet premium quality designs that reflect elegance, comfort, and commercial appeal.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Software: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, and strong command over both software.
  • Fabric Knowledge: Expertise in various fabrics such as Cotton, Rayon, Muslin, Chanderi, Silk, Blends & their drapes.
  • Design Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Western silhouettes, dresses, coord sets, fusion wear, and ability to create complex designs with precision.
  • Strong visualization, sketching & digital illustration skills: Strong portfolio of previous work showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and embroidery placement: Solid understanding of garment construction principles and ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
  • Ability to work under deadlines with creativity and precision: Proven track record of meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in women's western or fusion fashion.
  • Portfolio of previous work (required).
