Job Description

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to develop and maintain scalable data pipelines utilising Azure Fabric and Databricks.

The successful candidate will have expertise in optimising data integration processes to ensure accuracy and performance, collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

A strong focus on data quality checks is required to maintain the integrity of datasets. The selected candidate will work with large-scale data storage and processing systems effectively.

ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows for structured and unstructured data must be designed and implemented by the successful applicant.

Data governance and security policies must be adhered to at all times. Technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues are also part of the job.

Dashboards using PowerBI will be created and showcased by the chosen candidate.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing tools and cloud platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
