**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Claims Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining applications within the Claims Suite.

**Responsibilities**

  1. Design, configure, and implement solutions using the Claims Suite.
  2. Customize claims workflows, pages, and rules using Author and Manuscripts.
  3. Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  4. Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are met.
  5. Create and maintain technical documentation.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  7. Contribute to sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
  8. Optimize performance and scalability of the Claims application.
  9. Integrate the Claims application with other systems using web services (SOAP/REST).
  10. Provide post-production support and enhancements.

**Requirements**

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

  • ">
  • 3-14 years of experience in Claims implementation and development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with tools like Author, Manuscripts, Transact, Express, and bDecision/Form Designer.
  • Experience with configuration of Claims setup, Claims transactions, business rules, and validation.
  • Proficient in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience with debugging and performance tuning in Claims applications.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and plug-ins.
  • Familiarity with RESTful/SOAP APIs.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exposure to Policy or Billing module is a plus.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience in working with U.S. P&C insurance clients.
  • Understanding of insurance domain concepts (FNOL, Subrogation, Adjuster Workflow, etc.).

Education & Certification:**

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Duck Creek certifications (Claims Author, Integration, etc.) are a plus.

Soft Skills:**

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Flexible to adapt to changing business needs.
