The role of Accounts Head involves overseeing the financial management and reporting functions within an organization. This includes preparing and submitting financial statements to senior executives for review, maintaining accurate records of budgeting, cash flow, turnover, customer outstanding, and collection statements.

Another key aspect of this role is the automation of business processes using Tally Prime. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to integrate Tally Prime with banking, sales, and purchase ERPs solutions to streamline invoice processing and expense management.

Additionally, the Accounts Head will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance by filing returns on time, including Income Tax (TDS, Transfer Pricing, Advance Tax Projections & routine implications), GST, P.F., and other relevant compliances. They will also liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth annual audit process and completion of required ROC / MCA filings.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • A professional qualification in CA, M.Com, or MBA with Finance as a specialization.
  • A minimum of 15+ years' experience in the manufacturing or forging industry, preferably in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, specifically Tally Features, and proficiency in advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
