Job Title: Accounting Financial Lead

Job Description

The primary objectives of the Accounting Financial Lead are to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards. This position is responsible for managing the month-end close process, including the accurate and timely recording of income, expenses, and changes in assets and liabilities.

  • Manages the month-end close process ensuring accurate and timely recording of income, expenses, and changes in assets and liabilities.
  • Reviews and approves journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepares monthly balance sheet and income statement trend analyses for senior management.
  • Prepares quarterly lender compliance packages.
  • Ensures overall technical accounting compliance by monitoring relevant IFRS and US GAAP developments to ensure accounting policies and procedures comply with current standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Accounting Financial Lead must have a strong technical accounting background with a thorough knowledge of both IFRS and US GAAP. A minimum of 7 years of financial and accounting experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience, is required. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA/CA certification are preferred.

Additionally, Accounting Financial Lead must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication skills. Experience with accounting systems, Microsoft D365 Finance, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are also highly desirable.
