Job Opportunity: Contemporary Rug Designer

We are seeking a skilled and creative rug designer to join our team in Delhi. As a full-time rug designer, you will play a crucial role in creating modern rug designs using various techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive plan for the creative direction of our rug collections.
  • Share innovative concept ideas for themes and collections to develop.
  • Design rugs in suitable qualities and textures of collections identified.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ideas on fibers, yarns, and weaves for manufacturing.
  • Plan exhibition stand designs in relation to displayed collections.
  • Create rendering of rug designs in room settings.
  • Design catalogues and social media posts.
  • Attend factory visits and exhibitions as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in design.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of carpet techniques, including hand tufting, hand knotting, and handloom weaving.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, InDesign, and Galaincha software.
